The Pro Radio music player is compatible with StationPlaylist and can play the audio stream and display titles and artwork from your StationPlaylist radio channel.
How to add a StationPlaylist radio player to your WordPress website?
To play the stream and display titles from StationPlaylist:
- Make sure to set StationPlaylist to publish the XML information in a subfolder (not subdomain!!) of your domain, for instance: https://your_site.com/nowplaying.xml
- Open the XML in your browser to verify the XML file
- From the left menu, go to Radio Channels > Add new
- Set your radio channel title
- Add the MP3 Stream URL
- Server type: select StationPlaylist
- Paste your XML URL, it normally looks like this:
https://your_site.com/nowplaying.xml - Publish and verify in frontend if titles are appearing. if not, please go back to your StationPlaylist software and verify the FTP URL where the XML is being published.
- If titles are not appearing, try enabling the Use proxy checkbox and publish again
