Pro Radio Voiceline Settings

Storage check

The first thing to check is the private storage folder used by Voiceline. The plugin verifies the folder path, whether it exists, whether it is writable, and whether it can actually write files. If the write test fails, uploads will not work correctly. Use the Create storage folder button if needed.

Maintenance

This option disables new submissions. Use it when you want to temporarily stop incoming messages without removing the widget from the page.

Sandbox

This option allows submission testing without saving anything. It is useful during setup, layout testing, or controlled frontend checks before going live.

User waiting time

This sets the minimum time a user must wait before sending another message. It reduces spam and repeated submissions. In the standard version this is fixed to the basic tier value, while Premium unlocks additional waiting-time presets.

Name

Enable this option if you want the form to request the listener name. The field will appear in the frontend widget and will be saved together with the message.

Email

Enable this option if you want to request the user email address. This is also the field required if you want the plugin to send an automatic notification when a voice message is approved and published.

Phone

Enable this option if you want to request the phone number from the user. This can be useful for editorial follow-up or live station workflows.

Privacy

This option displays a privacy consent checkbox in the form. It is strongly recommended for public use because it explicitly asks the user to consent to sending the audio message for review and possible use on-air or online.

Admin Notification

When enabled, the website administrator receives an email every time a new voice message is submitted. This is useful if you want fast moderation without checking the admin area constantly.

User notification

When enabled, the user receives an email when the voice message is approved and published. This requires that the email field is requested in the form.

Custom notification email

This lets you define a custom administrator email address for new submission notifications. If left empty or invalid, the plugin falls back to the default WordPress admin email.

Blacklist IP

This option silently blocks requests coming from specific IP addresses. Add a comma-separated list of IPs that must not be allowed to submit messages.

User notification subject

This is the custom subject line used for the email sent to the user when a voice message is published.

User notification message

This is the custom body message sent to the user when the voice message is published. Use it to add your station tone, publishing notes, or a thank-you message.

Rate limiting

This sets the maximum number of pending submissions allowed per user. It helps prevent abuse from a single user or source. The default value is 20, but you can adjust it depending on your workflow.

Global rate limit

This sets the total number of submissions allowed globally per hour across the whole website. It adds a second protection layer on top of per-user limits and helps control spikes, spam, or coordinated abuse.

Reset user limits

The settings page includes a reset tool to clear the current daily and minute-based limits. This is useful during testing or if you need to manually clear temporary blocks.

IMPORTANT: this will reset the hidden server log of user antispam limit. The function won't reset the waiting time limit in the user browser, as this is a local functionality which you can't reset from the website.

Email test

The settings page also includes a test email tool. Use it to verify that the notification email configuration is working before you rely on moderation or user notifications.
