How moderation works
- Each submitted message is stored for review in the Voiceline admin area.
- The normal workflow is:
- The user records and sends a message.
- The message is saved as a Voiceline item.
- You review the audio.
- You publish it if approved, or delete it if not suitable.
Approve and publish from the website admin
- The standard method is to open the message in WordPress admin.
- From there you can review the original audio, download it, and publish the item.
- When a message is published, the plugin marks it as approved. This makes the message available from the Voiceline Playlist widget in Elementor.
Approve and publish from email
- The second method is email-based moderation.
- This is a Premium-only workflow.
- It allows you to approve or delete a message using secure action links sent by email (Premium version only)
Download Original
- The plugin is primarily built so radio stations can collect audience voice messages and download them for live airing, editorial editing, or manual playout.
- This is the core practical use of Voiceline.
MP3 conversion
- MP3 conversion is a Premium feature.
- When available, the plugin can process the uploaded file and attach a downloadable MP3 version to the message.
- This is useful when you want a cleaner and more standardized file for production use.
When to use MP3 conversion
- Use it if your station workflow prefers MP3 over original browser-recorded formats.
- Use it if you want simpler file handoff for presenters, editors, or playout preparation.
